Abstract
Indonesia: Komposisi “Iman dalam lembah kekelaman” terinspirasi dari kitab Mazmur 23:1-6 kitab ini berbicara tentang Tuhan, gembalaku yang baik, bagaimana Tuhan menjamin keselamatan, menjamin keamanan dan menjamin kenyamanan. Dalam komposisi ini peneliti menggunakan gaya musik post rock dalam combo band, dan bentuk (expanded three part song form). Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh suatu fenomena yang terjadi pada masyarakat yaitu disaat mengalami keterpurukan dalam hidup, manusia ingin mengakhir hidupnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data melalui srtudi Pustaka.observasi. Resital komposisi ini ditampilkan di gedung Dome Harvest, pada bulan mei 2024 Komposisi ini memiliki tujuan untuk memperluas musik post rock dalam berbagai lingkup: mulai dari gereja,sekuler,instituti Pendidikan dan pemerintah. Inggris: The composition "Faith in the Valley of Death" was inspired by the book Psalm 23:1-6. This book talks about God, my good shepherd, how God guarantees safety, guarantees security and guarantees comfort. In this composition, the researcher used a post rock music style in a combo band, and a form (expanded three part song form). This research is motivated by a phenomenon that occurs in society, namely when experiencing adversity in life, people want to end their lives. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through library observation studies. A recital of this composition was performed at the Dome Harvest building, in May 2024 This composition aims to expand post rock music in various spheres: from church, secular, educational institutions and government.
