Abstract

ABSTRAK Komposisi “Loba” terinspirasi dari kitab Lukas 12:13-21 yang membahas mengenai cara untuk mencapai sebuah kesejahteraan yang didasari kebenaran Firman Tuhan. Dalam komposisi ini penulis menggunakan idiom musik Bali untuk paduan suara. Bentuk musik yang digunakan pada komposisi ini adalah Choral Musik. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena yang sering terjadi di sekitar kita, yaitu ketamakan. Peneltian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data mealui Studi Pustaka, Observasi, Wawancara dan Dokumentasi. Resital komposisi ini ditampilkan melalui kanal resmi “Harvest International Theological Seminary” secara live streaming, pada bulan Mei 2022. Komposisi bertujuan untuk menunjukan potensi perkembangan musik Bali dalam berbagai lingkup: mulai dari musik gereja, musik sekuler, institusi pendidikan dan pemerintahan.
