Abstract

Indonesia: Komposisi “Pertobatan” terinspirasi dari Kitab 2 Samuel 12 ayat 13. Kitab ini membicarakan mengenai Daud yang kembali bertobat setelah diingatkan oleh nabi Natan atas keberdosaannya. Dalam komposisi ini peneliti menggunakan idiom Pelog yang dikolaborasikan dengan instrumentasi barat. Bentuk komposisi musik ini ialah bentuk lagu dua bagian yang diperluas dan diperbesar (extended and enlargement two part song). Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangki oleh hawanafsu manusia yang akhirnya membuat manusia jatuh kedalam dosa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualtitatif dengan tehnik pengumpulan data melalui studi pustaka, studi repertoar, observasi dan wawancara. Resital komposisi ini berlangsung dengan judul “The Journey of Lifetime” pada bulan Mei 2024. Komposisi ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengembankan musik etnik Jawa Tengah dan perpaduannya dengan instrumentasi barat dalam lingkup mulai dari, gereja, sekuler dan institusi pendidikan. Inggris: The "Perotbatan" composition is inspired by 2 Samuel 12 verses 13. This book speaks of David who repented after being reminded of his sins by the prophet Nathan. In this composition, the researchers used the Pelog idiom collaborated with Western instrumentation. This composition is an extended and enlarged two-part song. This research is backed by the human lust that eventually causes man to fall into sin. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through library studies, repertoire studies, observations and interviews. The recital of the composition takes place under the title "The Journey of Lifetime" in May 2024. The composition is intended to portray the ethnic music of Central Java and its association with Western instrumentation in spheres ranging from, church, secular and educational institutions.
